Preannouncement regarding Kempower’s first quarter of 2022 financial performance: strong growth continued

The strong demand of Kempower’s electric vehicle charging solutions continued in the first quarter of 2022. This impacted positively in Kempower’s revenue, order intake and order backlog. Both the Nordic countries and the rest of Europe were driving the growth in the first quarter of 2022.

Kempower’s key figures in the first quarter of 2022 according to preliminary and unaudited calculations are following:

 

Q1/2022

  • Order backlog increased to EUR 29.1 million (EUR 10.0 million)
  • Order intake increased to EUR 26,9 million (EUR 8.5 million)
  • Revenue increased by 393% to EUR 11.5 million (EUR 2.3 million)
  • Gross Margin was 47% (51%)
  • EBIT was EUR -0.9 million (EUR -0.5 million)

 

Kempower will publish its first quarter 2022 business review on Friday 6 May 2022. Due to the silent period, Kempower will not give any further comments on its result before publishing the business review.
